<br /> 143 <br /> - <br /> . ~ \ <br /> ...., <br /> RESOLUTION 1997- 59 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, CHANGING THE CALABOOSE BUILDING <br /> FROM A PUBLIC MEETING FACILITY TO A MUSEUM; AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. The Calaboose building was designated as a public meeting facility in <br />Resolution 1991-132R. <br />2. The Parks and Recreation Board has recommended that the Calaboose be <br />changed to a museum facility so that artifacts and memorabilia displayed there do not have <br />to be removed each time the facility is rented for public use. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br />PART 1. That Resolution 1 991-132R is amended by removing the Calaboose as <br />a public meeting facility and by redesignating it as a museum. <br />PART 2.
