The City Budget Ordinance for the 1996-97 Fiscal Year is amended <br />as set forth in the attached Exhibit A, in order to provide for the addition of a second <br />parking control technician. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The use of General Fund contingency funds described in the Budget <br />Adjustment attached to this ordinance is approved. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. These revisions and reappropriations which shall be the amended <br />budget for the City of San Marcos, Texas, for the fiscal year 1996-97, are approved and <br />adopted. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. The City Manager, Larry D. Gilley is directed to prepare the City <br />budget for the 1997-98 fiscal year in a manner that provides for continuation of funding for <br />the position added by this ordinance for a period, of four months at the beginning of the <br />fiscal year. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. The importance of this Ordinance creates an emergency and an <br />imperative public necessity, and the provisions of the Charter requiring that ordinances be <br />presented at three separate meetings, and that ordinances do not take effect until 10 days <br />after the date of final passage are suspended, and this Ordinance will take effect upon <br />publication of notice of its adoption in a newspaper of general circulation in the- City. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of July, 1997. <br /> <br /> <br />D~§'. ~ <br /> <br />Billy G.
