<br />'t---- 103 <br />~ <br />r-= ORDINANCE NO. 1997 58 <br />,~ - <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET <br /> ORDINANCE FOR THE 1996-97 FISCAL YEAR TO PROVIDE <br /> FUNDING FOR THE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT FOR THE 1998 <br /> EXPERIMENTAL AIRCRAFT ASSOCIATION FLY-IN AND <br /> DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. In accordance with Section 8.16 of the City Charter of the City of San Marcos, <br /> Texas, the City Council declares that a public necessity exists which requires amendment <br /> of the City's 1996-97 budget. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. The City Budget Ordinance for the 1996-97 Fiscal Year is amended <br /> as set forth in the attached Exhibit A, in order to provide funds for the Municipal Airport for <br /> the 1998 Experimental Aircraft Association Fly-In. <br /> SECTION 2. These revisions and reappropriations which shall be the amended <br /> budget for the City of San Marcos, Texas, for the fiscal year 1996-97, are approved and <br /> adopted. <br /> SECTION 3.
