<br /> 39 <br /> - <br /> RESOLUTION 1996--5.LLR <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING A RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON MARCH <br /> 4, 1996, WHICH APPOINTED JUDGES AND ALTERNATE JUDGES FOR <br /> THE JOINT ELECTION TO BE HELD ON MAY 4, 1996; AND DECLARING <br /> - AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. The City Council of the City of San Marcos adopted a resolution on March <br /> 4, 1996, which appointed judges and alternate judges for the joint election to be held on <br /> May 4, 1996. <br /> 2. It is necessary to amend that resolution to appoint different individuals to <br /> serve as judge and alternate judge in Precinct 336/451. <br /> 3. It is necessary to amend that resolution to appoint a different individual to <br /> serve as the alternate judge of the Early Voting Ballot Board <br /> ~ <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. Part 1 of the resolution adopted on March 4, 1996, which appointed <br /> judges and alternate judges is amended to substitute Max Souby for Berry James as the <br /> presiding judge and Victoria St. John for Max Souby as the alternate judge in Precinct <br /> 336/451. <br /> PART 2. Part 3 of the resolution adopted on March 4, 1996, which appointed <br /> the Early Voting Ballot Board is amended to substitute Delia Lucio for George Boemerman <br /> as the alternate judge of the Early Voting Ballot Board. <br /> PART 3.
