In accordance with Section 8.16 of the City Charter of the City of San Marcos, <br /> Texas, the City Council declares that a public necessity exists which requires amendment <br /> of the City's 1995-96 budget. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That the City Budget Ordinance for the 1995-1996 Fiscal Year is as <br /> set forth in the attached Exhibit A, in order to provide funding for the Park Ranger Program. <br /> . <br /> SECTION 2. That these revisions and reappropriations which shall be the amended <br /> budget for the City of San Marcos, Texas, for the fiscal year 1995-1996, are hereby <br /> approved and adopted. <br /> SECTION 3. The importance of this Ordinance creates an emergency and an <br /> imperative public necessity, and the provisions of the Charter requiring that ordinances be <br /> presented at three separate meetings, and that ordinances do not take effect until ten (10) <br /> days after the date of final passage are suspended, and this Ordinance will take effect <br /> upon publication of notice of its adoption in a newspaper of general circulation in the City. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of July ,1996. <br /> ß~1\~ <br /> Billy G.
