<br />88 <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1996- -1 ~fi R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT <br />FOR COMPUTER SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE MAINTENANCE FOR <br />THE INTERGRAPH COMPUTER SYSTEM; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER TO EXECUTE THIS RENEWAL ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On March 24, 1992 the City of San Marcos entered into an Equipment <br />Service Contract (the "Contract") with the Intergraph Corporation for use with the Intergraph <br />computer system for the City Environment and Engineering Department. <br /> <br />2. The City Council approved the sole source procurement of services to renew <br />the Contract in Resolutions 1993-138-R, 1994-175R and 1995-154R. <br /> <br />3. The Contract will expire on September 30, 1996 unless renewed by the City. <br /> <br />4. The maintenance required for the Intergraph system can only be provided by <br />the Intergraph Corporation. ' <br />. <br /> <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the renewal of the Contract as a sole source procurement in <br />approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized to execute the <br />renewal quote sheets for the Contract in the form attached to this resolution on behalf of <br />the City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
