In accordance with Section 8.16 of the City Charter of the City of San Marcos, <br /> I <br /> Texas, the City Council declares that a public necessity exists which requires amendment <br /> of the City's 1996-97 budget. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: . ' <br /> SECTION 1. The City Budget Ordinance for the 1996-97 Fiscal Year is amended <br /> as set forth in the attached Exhibit A, in order to provide funds for the Park Patrol Program. <br /> SECTION 2. These revisions and reappropriations which shall be the amended <br /> budget for the City of San Marcos, Texas, for the fiscal year 1996-97, are approved and <br /> < <br /> adopted. <br /> SECTION 3. The importance of this Ordinance creates an emergency and an <br /> imperative public necessity, and the provisions of the Charter requiring that ordinances be <br /> presented at three separate meetings, and that ordinances do not take effect until 10 days <br /> after the date of final passage are suspended, and this Ordinance will take effect upon <br /> publication of notice of its adoption in a newspaper of general circulation in the City. <br /> I PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of December ,1996. <br /> <br /> L. <br /> ~~<§. ~ <br /> Billy G.
