FOR THE PURCHASE AND <br /> INSTALLATION OF A NEW TELEPHONE SYSTEM FOR' CITY <br /> ~_.-. OFFICES; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE <br /> ! AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. The City has solicited proposals for procuring a new telephone system for c'ïty <br /> offices. <br /> 2. The City wishes to award a contract for this high-technology procurement to Wi/Tel <br /> Communications Systems, Inc. of the Woodlands, Texas, in the amount of $549,905.23. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> < <br /> PART 1. That the terms and conditions of the Agreement attached to this <br /> Resolution between the City and Wi/Tel Communications Systems, Inc. for the purchase <br /> and installation of a new telephone system for City offices are approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized to execute this <br /> Agreement and other related documents on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
