LOCATED AT 312 LINDA DRIVE FROM "M" <br /> SINGLE-FAMILY, DUPLEX AND NEIGHBORHOOD <br /> BUSINESS DISTRICT TO "MF-4" MULTI-FAMILY DISTRICT' ! <br /> (HIGH DENSITY) AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. i <br /> ~- I <br />I <br />! ! <br /> RECITALS: ! <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> 1. On April 11, 1995 the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of San <br /> Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change the zoning from "M" SingIe- <br /> Family, Duplex and Neighborhood Business District to "MF-4" Multi-Family District (High <br /> Density) for a 0.24 acre tract of property located at 312 Linda Drive. ! <br /> 2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Planning and Zoning <br /> Commission did, on April 11, 1995, consider and vote to approve the request and has <br /> recommended that the request be approved by the City Council of the City. <br /> ,. <br /> 3. The City Council held a public hearing on the 22nd day of <br /> May , 1995, regarding the request. . <br /> ¡ <br /> 4. All requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning Ordinance, of the Code of <br /> Ordinances of the City of San Marcos pertaining to amendments have been met. <br /> 5. The City Council finds and determines that the adoption of the following <br /> ordinance is in the interest of the,public health, morals, welfare and safety. ' <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That the Official Zoning Map of the City, as described in Section 3 of <br /> the General Zoning Ordinance, is amended to rezone the following real property which is <br /> presently zoned "M" Single-Family, Duplex and Neighborhood Business District to "MF-4" <br /> Multi-Family District (High Density) : <br /> Street address: 312 Linda Drive <br /> Size: 0.24 acre I <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> i <br /> Legal description: Lot 4, Block 4, J.P. Ellis No.2 Subdivision. <br /> <br /> Deed or plat reference: Volume 141, Page 545, Hays County Deed Records. <br /> <br /> , <br /> SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days from and after its <br /> passage and after it has been subject to reconsideration by the Council at its next regular <br /> meeting following its passage, and provided that the Council did not vote to reconsider it. <br /> If reconsidered on June 12, 1995, it shall be in effect ten days from and after its <br />, passage on that date if approved. It shall not go into effect if denied. If not reconsidered <br /> and approved it shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area as <br /> required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 22 day of May ,1995, <br /> subject to reconsideration at the next regular City Council meeting scheduled for <br /> June.12, 1995. <br /> Reconsidered no x i <br /> yes <br />
