35 ORDINANCE NO. 1995 - ---l2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET ORDINANCE FOR THE 1994-1995 FISCAL YEAR TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR THE BROADWAY STREET RECONSTRUCTION INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. RECITALS: -, accordance with Section 8.16 of the City Charter : 1. In of I I the City of San Marcos, Texas, the City Council declares that a public necessity exists which requires amendment of the City's 1994-95 budget. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION' 1. That the City Budget Ordinance for the 1994-1995 Fiscal Year is hereby amended as set forth in the attached Exhibit A, in order to provide funding for the Broadway Street Reconstruction Interlocal Agreement. SECTION 2. That these revisions and reappropriations which shall be the amended budget for the City of San Marcos, Texas, for the fiscal year 1994-1995, are hereby approved and adopted. SECTION 3. That the importance of this Ordinance creates an emergency and an imperative public necessity po that the prov~s~ons of the Charter requ~r~ng that ordinances shall be presented at three separate meetings and that no ordinance shall become effective until the expiration of ten (10) days following the date of its final passage be suspended, and these provisions are hereby suspended, and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation within the City as provided by the City Charter of the City of San Marcos.
