<br /> 35 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1995 - ---l2 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET <br /> ORDINANCE FOR THE 1994-1995 FISCAL YEAR TO <br /> PROVIDE FUNDING FOR THE BROADWAY STREET <br /> RECONSTRUCTION INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT; AND <br /> DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> -, accordance with Section 8.16 of the City Charter <br /> : 1. In of <br /> I <br /> I the City of San Marcos, Texas, the City Council declares that a <br /> public necessity exists which requires amendment of the City's <br /> 1994-95 budget. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION' 1. That the City Budget Ordinance for the 1994-1995 <br /> Fiscal Year is hereby amended as set forth in the attached Exhibit <br /> A, in order to provide funding for the Broadway Street <br /> Reconstruction Interlocal Agreement. <br /> SECTION 2. That these revisions and reappropriations which <br /> shall be the amended budget for the City of San Marcos, Texas, for <br /> the fiscal year 1994-1995, are hereby approved and adopted. <br /> SECTION 3. That the importance of this Ordinance creates an <br /> emergency and an imperative public necessity po that the <br /> prov~s~ons of the Charter requ~r~ng that ordinances shall be <br /> presented at three separate meetings and that no ordinance shall <br /> become effective until the expiration of ten (10) days following <br /> the date of its final passage be suspended, and these provisions <br /> are hereby suspended, and this Ordinance shall take effect and be <br /> in full force and effect from and after its adoption and after its <br /> publication in a newspaper of general circulation within the City <br /> as provided by the City Charter of the City of San Marcos. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of " May , <br /> 1995. ~lk1i~ <br /> Mayor <br /> Attßst: ' <br /> j;!~,wJ,g 1!JtN';/ <br /> Ja is K.
