<br /> 42 <br /> RESOLUTION 1995- 97 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SkN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A LETTER AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE GUADALUPE-BLANCO RIVER <br /> AUTHORITY TO EXTEND THE TER.1'v1 OF THE ANALYTICAL <br /> SERVICES CONTRACT FOR POTABLE WATER; AUTHORIZING <br /> THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF <br /> OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> - RECITALS: <br /> i <br /> 1. On August 1, 1993 the City of San Marcos <br /> entered into an agreement with the Guadalupe-Blanco River <br /> Authority for analytical services for potable water. <br /> 2. On June 13, 1994, the City Council approved an <br /> extension to the original agreement. <br /> 3. Both parties agree to another extension of the <br /> original agreement. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That a letter agreement between the City <br /> of San Marcos and the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority to <br /> extend the term of the analytical services contract for an <br /> additional year, a copy of which is attached to and <br /> incorporated in this Resolution for all intents and purposes, <br /> is hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is <br /> authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
