RESOLUTION 2012 -143R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT <br />AND MATERIALS FROM TECHLINE CONSTRUCTION, LLC IN <br />CONNECTION WITH THE DOWNTOWN RECONSTRUCTION <br />PROJECT IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $1,060,000.00 THROUGH <br />THE CITY'S MATERIAL ACQUISITION SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />WITH THE LOWER COLORADO RIVER AUTHORITY; <br />AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE <br />APPROPRIATE PURCHASING DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The purchase of equipment and materials from Techline Construction, LLC in <br />connection with the Downtown Reconstruction Project in the estimated amount of $1,060,000.00 <br />(which includes a ten percent (10 %) contingency) through the City's Material Acquisition <br />Services Agreement with the Lower Colorado River Authority ( "LCRA ") is approved. <br />PART 2. The City Purchasing Manager is authorized to execute the appropriate <br />purchasing documents on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
