<br /> ,66 <br /> RESOLUTION 1995- 149 R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE <br />JANITORIAL SERVICES CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY AND <br />AMERICAN MAID SERVICE; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER <br />TO EXECUTE THE AMENDMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br /> 1. On April 10, 1995, the City Council approved a <br />contract with American Maid Service for the provision of <br />janitorial services. <br /> 2. The renovation of the first floor of the <br />Municipal Building will be completed in the near future and <br />janitorial 'services will be required. <br /> 3. The City and American Maid Service wish to <br />amend the original agreement to include the provision of <br />janitorial services to the first floor of the Municipal <br />Building. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF {THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That Amendment No. 1 to the Janitorial <br />Services Contract between the City and American Maid Service, <br />a copy of which is attached to and incorporated in this <br />Resolution for all intents and purposes, is appr.:>ved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is <br />authorized to execute the Amendment on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3. That this Resolution shall be in full <br />force and effect immediately from ánd after its passage. <br /> ADOPTED this the 14th day of August, 1995. <br /> . <br /> ~~ .
