<br /> 110 <br /> RESOLUTION 1995 161 -R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS, APPROVING LETTER AGREEMENTS BE1WEEN THE CITY AND <br /> TECHLlNE, INC. TO EXTEND THE TERMS OF TWO ANNUAL <br /> CONTRACTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF LUMINAIRES; AUTHORIZING <br /> THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENTS ON BEHALF OF <br /> THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br /> 1. On October 1, 1993 the City of San Marcos entered into a contract with <br />Techline, Inc. of Austin, Texas for the purchase of luminaires (items #1 and #4 of IFB-93- <br />053). <br /> ,", <br /> 2. On October 1, 1994 the City of San Marcos entered into a contract with <br />Techline, Inc. of Austin, Texas for the purchase of luminaires (IFB-95-001). <br /> 3, Both parties agree to an extension of the original agreements. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: . <br /> PART 1. That letter agreements between the City of San Marcos and Techline, <br />Inc. to extend the terms of two annual contracts for the purchase of luminaires for an <br />additional year each, copiès of which are attached to and incorporated in this Resolution <br />for all intents and purposes, are approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized to execute the <br />agreements on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately from <br />and after its passage. <br /> ADOPTED this the 11 th day of September 1995. <br /> <br /> Robert T.
