<br /> 98 <br /> RESOLUTION 1994- 32R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A JOINT ELECTION AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AND THE SAN MARCOS <br /> CONSOLIDATED INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE <br /> HOLDING OF A JOINT GENERAL ELECTION ON MAY 7/ 1994; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE <br /> AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. The City Council of the City of San Marcos/ <br /> Texas/ hereby finds and determines that it is in the best <br /> interest of the City to - cooperate with the San Marcos <br /> Consolidated Independent School District in the holding of a <br /> general election on May 7/ 1994. <br /> 2. The School District is willing to participate <br /> in the holding of a joint general election on that date; now/ <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: . <br /> PART 1. That the Joint Election Agreement attached <br /> to this Resolution between the City of San Marcos and the San <br /> Marcos Consolidated Independent School District for the <br /> holding of the general city election on May 7/ 1994 is <br /> approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley is <br /> authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the City of <br /> San Marcos. <br /> PART 3.
