<br /> 6 <br /> RESOLUTION 1993- 98 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING REFUNDS IN THE <br /> AMOUNT OF $267,763.77 TO SOUTHWEST TEXAS STATE <br /> UNIVERSITY BASED UPON ELIMINATION OF THE <br /> DEMAND RATCHET PROVISION IN ELECTRIC UTILITY' <br /> RATE SCHEDULE LGS; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br /> DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the San Marcos Electric utility Board has recommended <br /> that the city grant refunds in the amount of $267,763.77 to <br /> southwest Texas State University (SWTSU) based upon elimination of <br /> the demand ratchet provision in San Marcos Electric utility Rate <br /> Schedule LGS during the period from July, 1991 to April, 1993, as <br /> depicted on the table attached to this resolution; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That refunds in the amount of $267,763.77 from the <br /> city to SWTSU based upon elimination of the demand ratchet <br /> provision in San Marcos Electric utility Rate Schedule LGS are <br /> hereby approved. 4 <br /> PART 2. That these refunds shall be provided as twelve <br /> monthly credits against SWTSU's electric service bills from the <br /> city beginning in June, 1993, with the first eleven credits being <br /> in the amount of $22,313.64 each and the final credit being in the <br /> amount of $22,313.73.
