<br />22 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1993- 100 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS <br />OF A LETTER AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND KLIPPLE <br />BUSINESS PRODUCTS TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE ANNUAL <br />OFFICE SUPPLY CONTRACT FOR ONE YEAR; AUTHORIZING <br />THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF <br />OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 1, 1992 the City of San Marcos <br />entered into a contract with Klipple Business Products for <br />the purchase of office supplies; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, both parties agree to an extension of the <br />original contract for an additional year; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That a letter agreement between the City <br />of San Marcos and Klipple Business Products, to extend the <br />term of an annual contract for the purchase of office <br />supplies, a copy of which is attached hereto and qncorporated <br />herein for all intents and purposes, is hereby approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley is <br />hereby authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the <br />City. <br /> <br />PART 3. That this Resolution shall be in full <br />force and effect immediately from and after its passage. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this the 24th day of May 1993. <br /> <br /> <br />I / 4 ,C VVl.
