<br /> 102 <br /> RESOLUTION 1993- 128 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND <br /> USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM <br /> PERMANENT OPEN SPACE AND/OR FLOODPLAIN TO LOW <br /> DENSITY RESIDENTIAL FOR ALL THAT CERTAIN TRACT <br /> OR PARCEL OF LAND, CONSISTING OF 1.52 ACRES OF <br /> LAND IN THE J.M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE NO. 2, HAYS <br /> COUNTY, TEXAS, LOCATED AT 1210 OLD MARTINDALE <br /> ROAD AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, on May 25, 1993 the Planning and zoning commissions <br />of the city of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request <br />to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan from Open Space <br />and/or Floodplain to Low Density Residential for all that certain <br />tract of parèel of land, consisting of 1.52 acres of land in the <br />J.M. Veramendi League No. 2, Hays County, Texas, as recorded in <br />Volume 138, Page 628 of the Hays County Deed Records; located at <br />1210 Old Martindale Road in the city of San Marcos, Hays County, <br />Texas; and, <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing, the Commissions <br />did, on May 25, 1993, consider the request and voted to approve it <br />and have recommended that the request be approved by the City <br />Council of the city; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the city council held a public hearing on the 26tlday <br />of July , 1993, regarding the request; and, <br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to <br />amendments have been met; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the city council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the <br />public, health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the following described tract of real property <br />located at 1210 Old Martindale Road, San Marcos, Hays County, <br />Texas, which is in an area shown on the Future Land Use Map of the <br />Master Plan of the city of San Marcos as Permanent Open Space <br />and/or Floodplain shall be shown on that map as Low Density <br />Residential: <br /> All that certain tract or parcel of land, consisting of <br /> 1.52 acres of land in the J.M. Veramendi League No.2, in <br /> Hays County, Texas, being a portion of that tract of <br /> 100.13 acres of land conveyed to Frank F. Sharp by B.F. <br /> and I.E. Harper by deed recorded in Volume 138, Page 628, <br /> Hays County Deed Records, more accurately described by <br /> metes and bounds as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at an iron stake set on the Southwest line of <br /> old Highway #80 or Martindale Road for the most Easterly <br /> corner of the tract herein described and from which <br /> beginning corner an iron stake found for the most <br /> Easterly corner of the aforementioned Sharp 100.13 acre <br /> tract bears S. 45°00' E. 702.93 feet; <br /> THENCE leaving old Martindale Road S. 45°00'W. 200.00 <br /> feet to an iron stake set for the most Southerly corner <br /> of the tract herein described; <br /> THENCE N. 45°00'W. at 215.8 crossing center line of <br /> L.C.R.A. Transmission Line and continuing on in all <br />
