146 RESOLUTION NO. 1993- ISO R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS I TEXAS NOMINATING A CANDIDATE FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE HAYS COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT FOR THE PERIOD BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1994; DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO SUBMIT THE NAME OF THE NOMINEE TO THE CHIEF APPRAISER OF THE HAYS COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS I the of City of San Marcos I Texas, is a taxing unit entitled to nominate candidates for positions on the board of directors for the Hays County Appraisal District; now, therefore, WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to nominate its candidate for a position on the board of directors for the Hays County Appraisal District for the period beginning January 1, 1994, and, WHEREAS I Robert T. Mooney fulfill(s) the~ eligibility requirements of Section 6.03 (a) of the Texas Property Tax Code for nomination to a director position; now, therefore, BE IF RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS I TEXAS: PART 1. That Robert T. Mooney is hereby nominated as a candidate for a position on the board of directors for the Hays County Appraisal District for the period beginning January 1, 1994. PART 2. That the Mayor of the City of San Marcos is hereby directed to submit I prior to October 15 I 1993 I the name of Robert T. Mooney I to the Chief Appraiser for the Hays County Appraisal District, as the nominee of the City of San Marcos I Texas for a position on the board of directors of the Hays County Appraisal District for the period beginning January 1, 1994.
