<br /> 14 <br /> RESOLUTION 1993- 184 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS <br /> OF A LETTER AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND ARATEX <br /> SERVICES TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE UNIFORM SERVICES <br /> CONTRACT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE <br /> THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING <br /> AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />-- <br />I WHEREAS, on November 1, 1991 the City of San <br />, Marcos entered into a contract with Aratex Services for <br />: uniform services; and, <br /> WHEREAS, on September 14, 1992 both parties agreed <br /> to an extension of an additional year; and, <br /> WHEREAS, both parties agree to another extension <br /> of the original contract; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That a letter agreement between the City <br /> of San Marcos and Aratex Services, to extend the term of the <br /> uniform services contract until January 31, 1994, a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all <br /> intents and purposes, is hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is <br /> authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
