<br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND
<br /> USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM
<br /> HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO PUBLIC FOR 0.146
<br /> AND 0.213 ACRE TRACTS OUT OF BLOCK 13 IN THE
<br /> LINDSEY & HARVEY ADDITION, IN THE CITY OF SAN
<br /> MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, LOCATED AT 325 AND
<br /> 329 NORTH STREET AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE
<br /> DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, on August 31, 1993, the Planning and Zoning
<br />Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing
<br />regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master
<br />Plan from High Density Residential to Public for 0.146 and 0.213
<br />acre tracts out of Blòck 13 in the Lindsey & Harvey Addition, in
<br />the City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, located at 325 and 329
<br />North Street; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the
<br />Commission did, on August 31, 1993, consider the request and voted
<br />to approve it and have recommended that the request be approved by
<br />the City Council of the city; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the 8th day
<br />of November , 1993, regarding the request; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to
<br />amendments have been met; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the city council hereby finds and determines that the
<br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the
<br />public, health, morals, welfare and,safetYi now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br />TEXAS:
<br /> PART 1. That the following tracts out of Block 13 in the
<br />Lindsey & Harvey Addition, City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas,
<br />located at 325 and 329 North Street, San Marcos, Hays County,
<br />Texas, which are in an area shown on the Future Land Use Map of
<br />the Master Plan of the city of San Marcos as High Density
<br />Residential shall be shown on that map as Public.
<br /> TRACT 1:
<br /> Field notes describing 0.146 acres of land, said 0.146
<br /> acres being a part of Block 13 of the Lindsey and Harvey
<br /> Addi tion, a subdivision of San Marcos, Hays County,
<br /> Texas, according to the map or plat thereof, recorded in
<br /> Volume "Z", Page 29, Deed Records of Hays County, Texas,
<br /> and being more particularly described by metes and bounds
<br /> as follows:
<br /> Beginning at the corner of a stone wall, at the rear of
<br /> a concrete sidewalk that lies, along the West line of
<br /> North Street, said wall corner being N 7 -57'-38" W, a
<br /> distance of 191.8' from the South corner of the afore-
<br /> mentioned Block 13;
<br /> Thence, S 78 -24'-18" W, along the face of the stone
<br /> wall, a distance of 79.54' to the end corner of the stone
<br /> wall, said corner being the South corner of the herein
<br /> described parcel;
<br /> Thence, N 15 -38-' -52" W, along the face of a wood
<br /> fence, a distance of 40.35' to a point on the corner of
<br /> a concrete parking apron;
