<br /> 57 <br /> RESOLUTION 1993- 200 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A LETTER AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN THE CITY AND NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL <br /> TESTING, INC. TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE ANALYTICAL <br /> SERVICES CONTRACT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br /> EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, on February 1, 1992 the City of San <br />Marcos entered into a contract with National Environmental <br />Testing, Inc. for analytical services; and, <br /> WHEREAS, on January 11, 1993 both parties agreed to <br />an extension of an additional year; and, <br /> WHEREAS, both parties agree to another extension - <br />of the original contract; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That a letter agreement between the City <br />of San Marcos and National Environmental Testing, Inc., to <br />extend the term of the analytical services contract for a <br />second additional year, a copy of which is attached hereto <br />and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes, is <br />hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is <br />authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3. That this Resolution shall be in full <br />force and effect immediately from and after its passage. <br /> ADOPTED this the 22nd d~rn~r, 1993,. <br /> Kathy M.
