<br />N <br />tr <br />0"" <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />66 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1992- 29R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF <br />THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM LOW DENSITY <br />RESIDENTIAL TO MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL FOR FOUR <br />TRACTS OF PROPERTY, BEING PORTIONS OF LOTS 9 AND 10 <br />OF THE JOHN SCOTT ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME R, <br />PAGE 255 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, COMPRISING <br />0.372 ACRES OF LAND, MORE OR LESS, LOCATED AT 115- <br />121 SCOTT STREET AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on January 21, 1992, the Joint Planning and Zoning <br />commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing <br />regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master <br />Plan from Low Density Residential to Medium Density Residential <br />for four tracts of property, being portions of Lots 9 and 10 of the <br />John Scott Addition, to the City of San Marcos, Texas, as recorded <br />in Volume R, Page 255 of the Hays County Deed Records, comprising <br />0.372 acres of land, more or less, located at 115-121 Scott Street; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the <br />Commissions did, on January 21, 1992, consider the request and <br />voted to approve it and have recommended that the request be <br />approved by the city Council of the City; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the 23rdday <br />of March , 1992, regarding the requestj and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to <br />amendments have been met; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the <br />public, health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the area of property consisting of the four (4) <br />following described tracts of real property located at 115-121 <br />Scott Street, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is in an area <br />shown on the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan of the City of <br />San Marcos as Low Density Residential shall be shown on that map as <br />Medium Density Residential: <br /> <br />TRACT 1: <br /> <br />All that certain tract or parcel of land situated in the <br />City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, and being part of <br />Lots Nos. Nine (9) and Ten (10) of JOHN SCOTT ADDITION, and <br />being also a part of a tract conveyed by Adwick, Inc., to <br />A.R. Adcock, et al, and the said part of Lots Nos. Nine (9) <br />and Ten (10), are more particularly described as follows: <br /> <br />BEGINNING at an iron pin found in the East corner of the <br />said Adcock tract on the SW line of Scott Street and the NE <br />line of Lot 10 for the West corner of this tractj <br /> <br />THENCE S. 430 25' W. 119.20' to an iron pin found on the SW <br />line of Lot 10 and the NE line of an alley for the south <br />corner of this tract, also being the South corner of the <br />said Adcock tractj <br /> <br />THENCE N. 460 12' W. 45.00' to an iron pin set for the West <br />
