<br /> 107 <br /> RESOLUTION 1992- 46 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br /> EXECUTE A LETTER TO THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF <br /> TRANSPORTATION ACKNOWLEDGING THE RECEIPT OF <br /> INFORMATION .AND PLEDGING CITY COOPERATION <br /> REGARDING IMPROVEMENTS TO INTERSTATE HIGHWAY <br /> 35 FROM STATE HIGHWAY 123 TO THE COMAL COUNTY <br /> LINE: AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the State Department of Transportation has <br /> provided information to the City regarding traffic routing <br /> changes to occur in connection with the proposed improvements <br /> to Interstate Highway 35 between State Highway 123 and the <br /> Comal County line: and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Department of Environment and <br /> Engineering has reviewed this information and is satisfied <br /> with the soundness of the proposed routing changes: and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation has requested <br /> the Mayor to execute the letter attached to this Resolution <br /> acknowledging receipt of the information and pledging the <br /> City's cooperation during the construction process: now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the Mayor, Kathy M. Morris is hereby <br /> authorized to execute the letter to the Texas Department of <br /> Transportation in the form attached to this Resolution <br /> acknmdedg ing the receipt of information and pledging City <br /> cooperation regarding improvements to Interstate Highway 35 <br /> from State Highway l23 to the Comal County line. <br /> PART 2.
