<br /> 40 <br /> RESOLUTION 1992- 60 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PROCUREMENT OF REPAIR <br /> SERVICES FROM CUMMINS SOUTH PLANT FOR THE SLUDGE <br /> INJECTOR TRUCK: APPROVING THE USE OF CONTINGENCY <br /> FUNDS FOR PAYMENT: AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City's sludge in j ector truck is in <br /> need of an engine replacement as a result of unforeseen <br /> damage to the the existing engine: and, <br /> WHEREAS, it is critical to the operation of the <br /> City's Wastewater Treatment Plant to have this equipment <br /> promptly repaired: and, <br /> WHEREAS, due to a shortage in the wastewater <br /> disposal budget, it is necessary to utilize contingency <br /> funding for the cost of repairing this equipment: now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the procurement of repair services <br /> from Cummins South Plant in San Antonio, Texas for repairs <br /> necessary because of unforeseen damage to the sludge injector <br /> truck is approved. <br /> PART 2. That the appropriation of $13,6ØØ.ØØ from <br /> the Contingency Fund for repairs to the City's sludge <br /> injector truck is approved. <br /> PART 3.
