<br />25 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1992 - 109 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS SUPPORTING THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF A HAYS COUNTY YOUTH DETENTION <br />FACILITY: AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that there is a need <br />to investigate the issues concerning the youth of San Marcos and <br />established the Mayor's Commission on Youth (the "Commission") to <br />address these issues: and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the construction of a youth detention facility is of <br />paramount concern in dealing with adolescent criminal activities, <br />as reported by the Commission on April 27, 1992: now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the City Council hereby expresses its support <br />for the construction of a youth detention facility in Hays County. <br /> <br />PART 2.
