<br />38 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1992- 112 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE EMERGENCY PROCUREMENT <br />OF REPAIR SERVICES FOR THE 1976 MACK FIRE APPARATUS <br />FROM 221 FLEET SERVICE NECESSARY BECAUSE OF <br />UNFORSEEN DAt-1AGE TO PUBLI C MACHIN~RY; AUTHORI ZING <br />THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE PURCHASE <br />REQUISITION AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Fire Department has begun the process <br />of refurbishing its 1976 Mack Fire Apparatus; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in the process of completing an engine <br />overhaul on the fire apparatus it was discovered that several <br />other parts needed replacing; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it was determined that the additional <br />repairs would need to be made in order to complete the engine <br />overhaul; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the emergency procurement of these repair <br />services will allow the Fire Department to proceed with the <br />corrective work promptly; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the emergency procurement of repair <br />services from 221 Fleet Service for refurbishing the 1976 <br />Mack Fire Apparatus necessary because of unforseen damage to <br />public machinery is approved~ <br /> <br />PART 2. That the payment of $7,973.55 to 221 Fleet <br />Service for the repair services is approved. <br /> <br />PART 3.
