<br />65 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1992- 121R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS APPROVING THE TERMS AND <br />CONDITIONS OF A PROPOSED AGREEMENT WITH THE <br />GREATER SAN MARCOS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />COUNCIL AND THE GREATER SAN MARCOS CHAMBER OF <br />COMMERCE RELATING TO AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 1992-93; AUTHORIZING <br />THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT, AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Greater San Marcos Chamber of Commerce <br />administers a community Economic Development Program through the <br />Greater San Marcos Economic Development Council; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos desires to renew its contract <br />with the Greater San Marcos Economic Development Council and the <br />San Marcos Chamber of Commerce for fiscal year 1992-93, in order to <br />promote orderly and responsible economic development for the San <br />Marcos geographic area; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the terms and conditions of an agreement between <br />the City of San Marcos, the Greater San Marcos Chamber of Commerce <br />and the Greater San Marcos Economic Development Council, relating <br />to an economic development program for fiscal year 1992-93, a copy <br />of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof for all intents <br />and purposes, are hereby approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the City Manager of the City of San Marcos, <br />Larry D. Gilley, is hereby authorized to execute this agreement on <br />behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
