65 RESOLUTION 1992- 121R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A PROPOSED AGREEMENT WITH THE GREATER SAN MARCOS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL AND THE GREATER SAN MARCOS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE RELATING TO AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 1992-93; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Greater San Marcos Chamber of Commerce administers a community Economic Development Program through the Greater San Marcos Economic Development Council; and, WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos desires to renew its contract with the Greater San Marcos Economic Development Council and the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce for fiscal year 1992-93, in order to promote orderly and responsible economic development for the San Marcos geographic area; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the terms and conditions of an agreement between the City of San Marcos, the Greater San Marcos Chamber of Commerce and the Greater San Marcos Economic Development Council, relating to an economic development program for fiscal year 1992-93, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof for all intents and purposes, are hereby approved. PART 2. That the City Manager of the City of San Marcos, Larry D. Gilley, is hereby authorized to execute this agreement on behalf of the City. PART 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
