<br /> 96 <br /> RESOLUTION 1992- 130 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN l1ARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN UPDATED <br /> HANDBOOK FOR CITY EMPLOYEES TO REPLACE THE <br /> PERSONNEL POLICIES FORMERLY IN PLACE;' <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO REVISE THE <br />I HANDBOOK FROM TIME TO TIME; AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the Employee Handbook establishing personnel <br /> policies for city employees, a copy of which is attached to this <br /> resolution, is hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. That, subject to Part 3 below, the city manager, with <br /> the approval of the city attorney, is authorized to update, revise <br /> and amend the Employee Handbook from time to time. <br /> PART 3. That any revisions to the Employee Handbook which <br /> involve employee compensation shall also be subjecb to approval by <br /> the city council. <br /> PART 4.
