<br /> 97 <br /> RESOLUTION 1992 - 131 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br /> MANAGER TO ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS FOR PAYMENTS OF <br /> FEES, FINES AND PERMITS AT MUNICIPAL COURT; <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, currently the City of San Harcos _açcepts cash <br /> payments only for the payment of fees, fines and permits at <br /> Municipal Court; and <br /> \"¡HEREAS; under the authority of the Local Government Code, <br /> the Council can authorize a city official to accept payments by <br /> credit card; now, therefore <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is hereby <br /> authorized to accept credit cards for the payment of fees, fines <br /> and permits at the Municipal Court. <br /> PART 2.
