<br /> 98 <br /> RESOLUTION 1992 - 132 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN M..i:\RCOS; TEXAS AP,?ROVING THE TER.JI1S AND <br /> CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEHENT BETWEEN THE CITY <br /> AND VICTORIA BANK & TRUST FOR FACILITATING THE <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF PAYMENTS BY MASTERCARD AND VISA <br /> BY THE CITY; RATIFYING THE CITY MANAGER'S <br /> EXECUTION OF THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE <br /> CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City accepts payments for fee s, fines and <br /> permits on nQmerous matters; and <br /> 'i'lHEREAS, under the authority of the Local Government Code~ <br /> the Council has approved the acceptance of payment by credit <br /> cards; now, therefore <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the terms and conditions of the Agreement <br /> attached to this Resolution between the City and Victoria Bank and <br /> Trust for facilitating the acceptance of payment~ by Hastercard <br /> and Visa are hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. That the execution of this Agreement by the City <br /> Hanager, Larry D. Gilley, on behalf of the City is hereby <br /> ratified. <br /> PART 3.
