108 RESOLUTION 1992- 134R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERCIAL FOR A 2.43 ACRE AREA OF LAND IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, LOCATED AT 1619 IH-35 NORTH AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on August 25, 1992, the Joint Planning and Zoning Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan from High Density Residential to Commercial for a 2.43 acre area of land in the City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, located at 1619 IH-35 North; and, WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the commissions did, on August 25, 1992, consider the request and voted to approve it and have recommended that the request be approved by the City Council of the City; and, ~ WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the 9thday of November , 1992, regarding the request; and, WHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to amendments have been met; and, WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public, health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That a 2.43 acre area of land more particularly described in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes, located at 1619 IH-35 North, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is in an area shown on the Future Land use Plan Map of the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as High Density Residential shall be shown on that map as Commercial.
