<br /> 121 <br /> RESOLUTION 1992- 1 17 R ~ ~ <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, TERMINATING A CONTRACT WITH GOODWIN <br /> SNACK SALES (THE "VENDOR ") FOR THE PROVISION OF <br /> VENDING SERVICES¡ AUTHORIZING THE PURCR:z'>..S ING <br /> MANAGER TO NOTIFY THE VENDOR OF TERMINATION¡ AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, on June l~ 1992 the City of San Marcos <br />entered into a contract with Goodwin Snack Sales (the <br />"vendor") for the provision of vending services¡ and, <br /> WHEREAS, on August 31, 1992 the City served the <br />vendor with notice to take action to correct deficiencies in <br />its performance under the contract¡ and~ <br /> WHEREAS, the vendor has not corrected the <br />deficiencies specified in the notice¡ now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS~ TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the contract between the City and <br />Goodwin Snack Sales is hereby terminated effective November <br />lØ, 1992. <br /> PART 2. That the Purchasing ~~nager, Cheryl <br />Pantermuehl, is hereby authorized to serve the vendor with <br />notice of termination of the contract on behalf of the City <br />of San Marcos. <br /> PART 3.
