<br /> 17 <br /> RESOLUTION 1992 - 145 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE TERMS AND <br /> CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY <br /> AND THE CONFEDERATE AIR FORCE FOR CITY <br /> CONTRIBUTION TO ROOF REPAIRS ON THE <br /> CONFEDERATE AIR FORCE HANGAR; AUTHORIZING THE <br /> CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON <br /> BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br /> DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City has leased a WWlI-era hangar building at <br /> the San Marcos Municipal Airport to the Confederate Air Force <br /> (CAF) for the purpose of storing and restoring WWII-era aircraft <br /> and operating an artifact museum; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City wishes to make a contribution of Hotel <br /> Occupancy Taxes towards the cost of roof repairs on the CAF Hangar <br /> building; now, therefore <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the terms and conditions of the Agreement <br /> attached to this Resolution between the City and the Confederate <br /> Air Force for City contributions to roof repairs on the CAF hangar <br /> building are hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley is hereby <br /> authorized to execute this Agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
