<br /> 16 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1991 - 41 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE <br /> SUBMISSION OF A PREAPPLICATION TO THE TEXAS <br /> STATE LIBRARY FOR A LIBRARY SERVICES AND <br /> CONSTRUCTION ACT TITLE II PROGRAM GRANT; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE <br /> PREAPPLICATION¡ AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER <br /> TO ACT IN ALL MATTERS REGARDING THE GRANT <br /> PROGRAM AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos wishes to submit a <br /> preapplication to the Texas State Library for a Library <br /> Services and Construction Act (LSCA) Title II Program Grant <br /> for assistance in funding the construction of a ne'\¡ll central <br /> library; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the submission of a preapplication to the <br /> Texas State Library for a LSCA Title II Program Grant, a copy <br /> of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all <br /> intents and purposes, is hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, be and <br /> he is hereby authorized to execute the preapplication and to <br /> act in all matters regarding the LSCA Ti te II Program Grant <br /> on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
