RESOLUTION 2013 -84R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO <br />AARON CONCRETE CONTRACTORS, L.P. FOR THE SESSOM CREEK <br />WASTEWATER PHASE II PROJECT IN THE BID AMOUNT OF <br />$2,977,898.00 CONTINGENT UPON THE BIDDER'S TIMELY <br />SUBMISSION OF SUFFICIENT BONDS AND INSURANCE IN <br />ACCORDANCE WITH THE CITY'S BID DOCUMENTS FOR THE <br />PROJECT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE <br />TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS <br />PART 1. The award of a construction contract to Aaron Concrete Contractors, L.P. for <br />the Sessom Creek Wastewater Phase II Project (IFB 213 -084) in the bid amount of <br />$2,977,898.00 is approved contingent upon the bidder's timely submission of sufficient bonds <br />and insurance in accordance with the City's bid documents for the Project. <br />PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the contract <br />documents on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
