<br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007- 134 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ENDORSING THE <br />APPOINTMENT OF MARK TAYLOR TO THE DISTRICT <br />11 SEAT ON THE EDWARDS AQUIFER AUTHORITY <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. Director Bailey Barton, currently holding the District 11 seat with a term expiring <br />in 2010, is resigning from his position. The District 11 seat is one of two districts <br />representing, in part, the City of San Marcos. <br /> <br />2. Mr. Taylor has extensive experience on water issues as such relate to the Edwards <br />Aquifer, including the representation of San Marcos during the 1993 legislative session when <br />legislation was adopted to establish the Edwards Aquifer Authority. Mr. Taylor has also <br />served as the Hays County Representative on the South Central Texas Water Advisory <br />Committee. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1.
