<br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND
<br /> USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY FROM
<br /> MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO OFFICE AND
<br /> PROFESSIONAL FOR PART OF LOT 1, BLOCK 3 OF THE
<br /> D.S. COMBS ADDITION BEING A PART OF FARM LOT
<br /> NO. THIRTEEN (13) OF THE ORIGINAL TOWN OF SAN
<br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, LOCATED AT 505 THROUGH 507 WEST
<br /> SAN ANTONIO STREET AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE
<br /> DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, on April 16, 1991, the Joint Planning and Zoning
<br /> Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing
<br /> regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master
<br /> Plan from Medimum Density Residential to Office and Professional
<br /> for Part of Lot 1, Block 3, of the D.S. Combs Addition, San Marcos,
<br /> Hays County, Texas, located at 505 through 507 West San Antonio
<br /> street; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the
<br /> Commissions did, on April 16, 1991, consider the request and voted
<br /> to approve it and have recommended that the request be approved by
<br /> the City Council of the City; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the 8th day
<br /> of July , 1991, regarding the request; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to
<br /> amendments have been met; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br /> adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the
<br /> public, health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br /> TEXAS:
<br /> PART 1: That the following described tract of real property
<br /> located at 505 through 507 West San Antonio, Street, San Marcos,
<br /> Hays County, Texas, which is in an area shown on the Future Land
<br /> Use Map of the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as Medium
<br /> Density Residential shall be shown on that map as Office and
<br /> Professional:
<br /> Being a part of Farm Lot No. Thirteen (13) of the Orignal
<br /> Town of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, fronting on San
<br /> Antonio Street and described by metes and bounds as
<br /> follows, to-wit:
<br /> BEGINNING at the most northern corner of that portion of
<br /> aforementioned Farm Lot No. 13, conveyed by Mrs. Annie L.
<br /> Thomas and husband to D.A. Nance by deed dated August 23,
<br /> 1902, of record in Book 44, at page 455 et seq. of the
<br /> Hays County Deed Records, and being the north corner of
<br /> tract sold by D.A. Nance to Leon H. Dailey, of which the
<br /> property here conveyed is a part:
<br /> THENCE with the southeast line of West San Antonio Street
<br /> South 45° West a distance of 57.3 feet to a stake (this
<br /> stake being 59 feet North 45° East from the intersection
<br /> of the northeast line of Nance Street with the southeast
<br /> line of San Antonio Street): said stake being also set at
<br /> the southwest surface of a cement curb:
<br /> THENCE South 45° East, along the southwest surface of
<br /> said cement curb, a distance of 126 feet to a stake;
