<br /> c- 92 <br /> <r: <br /> - <br /> ORDINANCE 1991- 58 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNC IL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING APPENDIX B, <br /> SIGNS, OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES TO <br /> LIMIT THE AMOUNT OF SIGNAGE PERMITTED ON <br /> TRAILERS AND PORTABLE BUILDINGS; REPEALING ALL <br /> CONFLICTING ORDINANCES: PROVIDING FOR <br /> PUBLICATION AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That Appendix B, Section 1-3, subsection 18, <br /> of the San Marcos Code of Ordinances is amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> (18) Unlit attached signs up to a cumulative total <br /> of 32 square feet in area on trailers or <br /> portable buildings containing an accessory use <br /> temporarily located on the premises, provided <br /> that the signs pertain to the use of the <br /> trailer or portable building. <br /> SECTION 2. That if any word, phrase, clause, sentence, <br /> or paragraph of this ordinance is held to be unconstitutional <br /> or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the <br /> remaining provisions of this ordinance shall remain in effect <br /> as if the unconstitutional or invalid portion had not been <br /> adopted. <br /> SECTION 3. That all ordinances and resolutions or parts <br /> of ordinances or resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby <br /> repealed. <br /> SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten <br /> (lØ) days from and after its passage, and it shall be <br /> published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area <br /> as required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas. <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading August 26, 1991. <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED on second reading September 9, 1991. <br /> PASSED, MPROVED ~ AOOPM Ptw. 2~ <br /> at y M. <br /> ayor <br /> At~e~fj(~ <br /> ~ K.
