<br />r<', A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />r,,: MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP
<br /> OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM LOW DENSITY
<br /> RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERCIAL FOR BLOCK 2, LOT 8, OF THE
<br /> LINDSEY AND HARVEY ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN
<br /> MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, LOCATED AT 503 HOPKINS STREET
<br /> AND 504 HARVEY STREET AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, on December 18, 1984, the Joint Planning and
<br />Zoning Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing
<br />regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master
<br />Plan from Low Density Residential to Commercial for Block 2, Lot 8 of
<br />the Lindsey and Harvey Addition, to the City of San Marcos, Hays
<br />County, Texas, located at 503 Hopkins Street and 504 Harvey Street;
<br />and,
<br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the
<br />Commissions did, on December 18, 1984, consider the request and
<br />voted to approve it and have recommended that the request be
<br />approved by the City Council of the City; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the 29th day
<br />of May , 1990, regarding the reques t; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to
<br />amendments have been met; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public
<br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br /> PART 1. That the following described tract of real property
<br />located at 503 Hopkins and 504 Harvey Street, San Marcos, Hays County,
<br />Texas, which is in an area shown on the Future Land Use Map of the
<br />Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as Low Density
<br />Residential shall be shown on that map as Commercial:
<br /> BLOCK 2, LOT 8, OUT OF THE LINDSEY AND HARVEY ADDITION TO
<br /> THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED
<br /> IN VOLUME E, PAGE 416 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS.
<br /> PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
<br />from and after its passage.
