<br /> 85 <br /> RE~OL1TTI()N 1990- 65 R <br /> ----- <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP <br /> OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM HIGH DENSITY <br /> RESIDENTIAL TO OFFICE AND PROFESSIONAL FOR LOTS 1 AND 2 <br /> OF THE VILLAGE AT SPRINGTOWN SUBDIVISION, HAYS COUNTY, <br /> TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 2, PAGE 297 OF THE HAYS <br /> COUNTY PLAT RECORDS, LOCATED IN THE 1200 BLOCK OF THORPE <br /> LANE AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, on May 15, 1990, the Joint Planning and Zoning <br />Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing reg ard i ng <br />a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan <br />from High Density Residential to Office and Professional for Lots I <br />and 2 out of the Village at Springtown Subdivision, located in the <br />1200 Block of Thorpe Lane; and, <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the <br />Commissions did, on May 15, 1990, consider the request and <br />voted to approve it and have recommended that the request be <br />approved by the City Council of the City; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the 25 day <br />of June , 1990, regarding the request; and, <br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to <br />amendments have been met; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public <br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the following described tract of real property <br />located in the 1200 Block of Thorpe Lane, San Marcos, Hays County, <br />Texas, which is in an area shown on the Future Land Use Map of the <br />Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as High Density Residential <br />shall be shown on that map as Office and Professional: <br /> LOTS 1 AND 2 OF THE VILLAGE AT SPRINGTOWN SUBDIVISION IN THE <br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS SHOWN ON THE PLAT <br /> RECORDED IN VOLUME 2, PAGE 297 OF THE HAYS COUNTY PLAT <br /> RECORDS. <br /> PART 2.
