100 ORDIN~NCE NO. ~3.----_- AN ORDINANCE BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF 'rEE CI'rY OF SAN gARCOS, TEXl\S CaNVASS INGRE'rURNS ~Nf) DECLARING THE RESULTS OF BOND ELECTION HELD IN SAID CITY ON SEPTEMBER 8, 199Ø~ CONTAINING OTHER PROVISIONS INCIDENT AND RELATED TO THE C) PURPOSE HEREOF ~ AND DECL.~RING AN EMERGENCY. -~ 15 i:: bB ~vHEREl\R, this City Council duly authorized an election to be held within said City on September 8, 199Ø, for the purpose of submitting to the resident qualified electors of said City the propositions hereinafter set forth~ WHEREAS, this City Council has investigated all matters pertaining to said election~ and HHEREAS, the election officers who held said election have duly made the ret.urns of the results thereof, and said returns have been duly delivered to this City Council~ now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIT.. OF THE CITY OF SAN HARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. Findings. It is officially found and determined that said election ~flas duly ordered, that proper notice th(~reof was duly given, that proper election officers were duly appointed prior to said election, that said election ~flaS duly and lawfully held, that due returns of the result of said election have been made and delivered, and that this City Council has duly canvassed said returns, all in accordance with law and the Ordinance calling said election. SECTION 2. Canvass Al?proved. That the tabulation of votes cast in the Bond Election held on September 8, 199Ø, made and certified to by the City Secretary of the City of San Marcos, a copy of ",hich is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby adopted as the official tabulation of the votes cast at the election, and that this ordinance \"i th said tabulation attached be filed and recorded in the official records of the City as the official canvass of the election. SECTION 3. Results Declared.
