<br /> 100 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1990 - 137 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF <br /> UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS AND THE GARY JOB CORPS CENTER FOR THE <br /> PROVISION OF MUTUAL ASSISTANCE IN RESPONSE TO <br /> FIRE EMERGENCIES; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER <br /> TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT; AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, desires to enter into <br /> a Memorandum of Understanding with the Gary Job Corps Center for <br /> the provision of mutual assistance in response to fire <br /> emergencies; now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the proposed Memorandum of Understanding <br /> between the City of San Marcos, Texas and the Gary Job Corps <br /> Center, for the provision of mutual assistance in response to fire <br /> emergencies, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated <br /> herein for all intents and purposes, is hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley be, and he is <br /> hereby authorized to execute this agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
