<br />38 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1989-108R <br />STATE OF TEXAS <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE <br />HAYS COUNTY CRIMINAL DISTRICT ATTORNEY <br />FOR THE DISPOSITION OF FORFEITED PROPERTY <br />WHEREAS, Article 59.06 of Chapter 59 of the Texas Code of <br />Criminal Procedure authorizes the Criminal District Attorney of <br />each county to enter into an agreement with law enforcement <br />agencies for the disposition of forfeited property; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos Police Department desires <br />authorization by the City Council for the execution of such an <br />agreement; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br />PART 1. That the Agreement between the City of San Marcos <br />Police Department and the Hays County Criminal District Attorney <br />for the disposition of forfeited property, a copy of which said <br />Agreement is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all <br />intents and purposes, be, and the same is hereby, approved. <br />PART 2. That the City Manager of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute said Agreement <br />on behalf of the City of San Marcos. <br />PART 3.
