<br />65 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1987-19R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP) <br />OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, FOR PART OF <br />BLOCK 39, VICTORY GARDENS SECTION, CONSISTING OF 97.19 <br />ACRES OF LAND, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, LOCATED AT THE <br />NORTHWEST SIDE OF HUNTER ROAD (FM 2439) BETWEEN LAUREL <br />ESTATES AND WILLOW SPRINGS CREEK FROM LOW DENSITY <br />RESIDENTIAL AND FLOOD PLAIN/PERMANENT OPEN SPACE TO LOW <br />DENSITY RESIDENTIAL, MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL, HIGH <br />DENSITY RESIDENTIAL, OFFICE AND PROFESSIONAL ,COMMERCIAL, <br />PUBLIC AND FLOOD PLAIN/PERMANENT OPEN SPACE; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on November 18, 1986, the Joint Planning <br />and Zoning Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public <br />hearing regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Plan (Map) <br />of the Master Plan from low Density Residential and Flood <br />Plain/Permanent Open Sapce to Low Density Residential and Flood <br />Plain/Permanent Open Space to Low Density Residential, Medium Density <br />Residential, High Density Residential, Office and Professional, <br />Commerc ial, Public and Flood Plain/Permanent Open Space for 97.19 <br />acres located on the northwest side of Hunter Road (FM 2439) between <br />Laurel Estates and Willow Springs Creek, Hays County, Texas; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said <br />Commissions did, on November 18, 1986, consider said request <br />and voted to approve the same and have recommended that such <br />request be approved by the City Council of said City; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the <br />of February 1987, regarding such request; and, <br /> <br />23 <br /> <br />day <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all requirements <br />amendments have been met; and, <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />r1as ter <br /> <br />Plan <br /> <br />pertaining <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public <br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />SAN <br /> <br />MARCOS, <br /> <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That 97.19 acres of land more particularly described <br />in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all <br />purposes, located on the northwest side of Hunter Road (FM 2439) <br />between Laurel Estates and Willow Springs Creek, San Marcos, Hays <br />County, Texas, which is in an area shown on the Future Land Use Plan <br />(Map) of the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as Low Density <br />Residential and Flood Plain/Permanent Open Space shall be shown on said <br />map as Low Density Residential, Medium Density Residential, High <br />Density Residential, Office and Professional, Commercial, Public and <br />Flood Plain/Permanent Open Sapce as more particularly described in <br />Exhibit "B" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all <br />purposes. <br /> <br />PART 2.
