36 MINUTES OF THE EMERGENCY MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, JANUARY 9, 1986 PRBSENT: Mayor Emmie Craddock Council Members Karl W. Brown Bill Coddington Gerald G. Farr Fred Guerra * Betty Jane Kissler * William C. Nicola City Manager A. C. Gonzalez City Secretary Janis K. Womack City Attorney Lamar W. Hankins Assistant City Manager Robert T. Herrera Also Present: Shirley Wickersham, l'lelissa Millecam, Jack Lindstrom, Buddy ~1ostyn, Bill Plummer, Jim Gandy and others. Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 8:14 p.m. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of two appointments to the Tourist Development Committee. Mr. Brown moved to nominate Jack Lindstrom for reappointment. Mr. Guerra moved to no@inate Jane Sowell for reappointr.~ent. J-lr. Coddington :~1ovecl to nor:lÏnate :Sill Coddington for reappointDent. On roll call the following vote was recorded: BROWN: Lindstrom, Sowell. CODDINGTON: Coddington, Lindstrom. I ARR ~ Lindstrom, Sowell. CRADDOCK: Coddington, Lindstrom. GlJERRA: Sowell, Lindstrom. Mr. Lindstrom received five votes and therefore was reappointed to the Tourist Development Committee. Mr. Guerra moved to table the appointment of the Council's second member to the Tourist Development Committee to the January 13, 1986 Regular Meeting of the Counci: and Mr. Farr seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was re- corded: AYE: Brown, Parr, Craddock, Guerra. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Coddington.
