BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />I TEXAS: <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That Section 2.484 of the San Marcos City Code is amended to read <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 2.484. Fees for public information. <br />Fees for access to and copies of public information of the City are set <br />by the City council. A schedule of these fees will be made available <br />to the public in the City Secretary's offices. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The Public Information Fee Schedule attached to this ordinance will <br />I.. be used to determine fees for access to and copies of public information of the City. When <br />I necessary to supplement the schedule, the cost regulations of the Texas General Services <br />Commission, as amended, will be used to determine the cost of providing access to and <br />copies of public information of the City. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. All ordinances and resolutions or parts of ordinances or resolutions <br />in conflict with this ordinance are repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. Any person violating any provision of this ordinance commits a <br />misdemeanor and is subject to the penalty provided in Section 1.015 of the San Marcos <br />City Code upon conviction. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of this ordinance <br />is held to be unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the other <br />provisions of this ordinance will continue in force if they can be given effect without the <br />invalid portion. <br /> <br />SECTION 6.
