<br /> 15 <br /> ORDINANCE 1986-9 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 21, ENTITLED, "PUBLIC <br /> SAFETY", OF THE SAN HARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES BY ADDING <br /> SECTION 21-37 MAKING IT UNLAWFUL ID I NTERF ERE WITH <br /> A FOLICE OFFICER OR FIREFIGHTER AND ESTABLI SHING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That Section 21-37 of the San Marcos Code of <br /> Ordinances is hereby adopted to read as follows: <br /> Sec. 21-37. Interference With fblice Officer Or Firefighter. <br /> It is unlawful for any person to interfere with a police <br /> officer or a firefighter who is performing official duties. <br /> Violation of this section is a Class C Misdemeanor punishable <br /> upon conviction by a fine not less than Fifty Dollars <br /> ($50.00) and not more than TWo Hundred D:Ülars ($200.00) <br /> SECTION 2.
