<br /> 68 <br /> RESOLUTION 1986-20R <br /> A REroWTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP) <br /> OF THE HASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, FOR 0.3918 ACRES <br /> (17,066 SQJARE FEET) OF LAND OUT OF FARM lOT NO. 15 OF <br /> THE ORIGINAL TOWN OF SAN MARCOS AND BEIN:; THE SAME LAND <br /> AS FOUND UFON THE GROUND DESCRIBED IN VOWME 357, PAGES <br /> 645-657 OF THE DEED RECORDS OF HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, A/K/A <br /> 602 ~'VEST SAN ANTONIO STREET IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO MEDIUM DENSITY <br /> RESIDENTIAL AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, on January 21,1986, the Joint Planning and Zoning <br />Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a <br />request to arrend the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Naster Plan <br />from low Density Residential to Medium Density Residential for <br />0.3918 acres (17,066 square feet) of land out of Farm lot No. 15 of the <br />Original Tbwn of S:m Marcos in said City; and, <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said <br />Cormnissions did, on January 21, 1986, consider said request and <br />voted to approve the same and have recommended that such request be <br />approved by the City Council of said City; and, <br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the 10 day <br />of March ,1986, regarding such request; and, <br />WHEREAS, all requirements of the r'1aster Plan pertaining to <br />amendments have been met; and, <br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public <br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESJLVED BY '!HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the following described tract of real property <br />located at 602 Viest San Antonio Street, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, <br />which is in an area shown on the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the <br />Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as low Density Residential shall <br />be shown on said map as t1edium Density Residential: <br /> Eeing 0.3918 acres (17,066 square feet) of land out of Farm lot <br /> No. 15 of the Original Town of San Marcos and being the s arne <br /> land as found upon the ground described in Volume 357, Pages <br /> 645-657 of the Deed Records of Hays County, Texas, and being <br /> more particularly described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING: At a nail set in asphalt at the intersection of the <br /> Southwest line of Blanco Street and the Northwest line of San <br /> Antonio for the Fast corner of the above referenced tract and <br /> the Fast corner of this tract; <br /> THENCE: S 45°55' 00" W 104.17 feet, along the Northwest line of <br /> San Antonio Street to an iron pin found in same for the South <br /> corner of this tract; <br /> THENCE: N 45°17' 48" W 164.97 feet to an iron pin found for the <br /> Viest corner of this tract; <br /> THENCE: N 45 °55' 00" E 102.80 feet to an iron pin found in the <br /> Southwest line of Blanco Street for the North corner of this <br /> tract; <br /> THENCE: S 45 '46' 20" E 165.0 feet, along said Southeast line to <br /> the Point of Beginning and containing 0.3918 acres (17,066 <br /> square feet) of land, more or less. <br /> PART 2.
