60 ORDINANCE 1985-2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, 1984 (VOLUME 66) BY Li'\ CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PART OF LOTS 6 F't AND 7 IN BLOCK NUMBER 7 OF THE D.S. COMBS ADDITION, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 42, PAGE \ 332 OF THE DEED RECORDS OF HAYS COUNTY~ TEXAS, A/K/A 608 VALLEY FROM "M" (SINGLE, DUPLEX, AND NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESSES DISTRICT) TO IIR-2" (SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT)¡ AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND U~E PLAN (MAP) OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY¡ AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the following described tract of real property located in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is presently zoned "M" (Single, Duplex and Neighborhood Businesses District) henceforth shall be rezoned "R-2" (Single Family Dwelling District). All that certain real property situated in the City of San Marcos in Hays County, Texas, being a part of Lot Six (6) and Seven (7) in Block No. Seven (7) of the D.S. Combs Addition to the said City of San Marcos, as recorded in Volume 42, Page 332 of the Deed Records of Hays County, Texas, which may be more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the northwest line of Valley Street, which point bears S45°W 148.83 feet from the intersection of Valley and Herndon Streets, which intersection is the east corner of said Block No. Seven (7) ¡ THENCE at right angles to Valley Street, N45°W lll.ll feet, more or less, to the southeast line of property conveyed to T.C. Johnson, Jr., by Isiah Pierce¡ THENCE with the southeast line of the said T.C. Johnson, Jr., property, N45°E, 50 feet to a point for the western most corner of the property here conveyed¡ THENCE S45°E 111.11 feet, more or less, to a point on the northwest line of Valley Street; THENCE with the northwest line of Valley Street, S45°W, 50 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING. The property here conveyed is part of the same property described in and conveyed by deed from T.C. Johnson, Jr., to Charles Matts, which deed is dated November 8, 1923, and is recorded in Volume 86, Pages 205-206 of the Deed Records of Hays County, Texas.
